To All of the Anti-Occupy people in the US

It amazes me how very recently people in other countries stood up to protest the corruption in their countries, and everyone in America rallied behind them. The media was flooded with the images and video of the military and police action that was used to try to stop the protesters. Everyone was appalled as those protester's basic human rights were trampled on. Everyone was rooting for the protesters.

But now as that very same thing is beginning to happen right here in the United States, it is being downplayed. Most people don't even know what the Occupy Wall Street movement is about. Our media sources are not showing the illegal actions of the police like they did when the same thing happened oversees. I see posts on the internet everyday from brainwashed peopled who call these protesters "lazy", "violent", "deadbeats"....and the list goes on.

First of all the only people who are being violent are the police who pepper spray unarmed peaceful protesters sitting on the ground. They pepper spray elderly women and pregnant women. They beat people bloody! When this same exact thing happens in another country, everyone get's angry and can clearly see the inhuman injustice that it represents. But when it happens here I see so many people try to blame the protesters (or in this case the victims). They say that those people should not have been there in the first place. SERIOUSLY?!?

I started this blog when I was in the middle of a 2+ year stretch struggling to survive as a single father after having my life turned completely upside down following a car accident that was not my fault. It was this situation that brought the truth right up in my face when I was further victimized by the insurance company and their greed and further victimized by our legal system that let's these companies get away with it. I won't go into detail in this post as I have already posted that information in previous posts. If you want to learn more about it you can read those.

But the bottom line is that this situation caused me to wake up...caused me to look behind the curtain and see the truth...see that we are ALL slaves (also outlined in a previous post). The only difference between the United States and other countries is that the United States spends alot more time and resources to brainwash it's citizens so that they will not see that obvious truth. So that when anyone does wake up to that truth and stands up to fight it, they will have plenty of other slaves stand up to defend their slave masters and beat down the very people who are trying to call for a change for everyone.

The Occupy Wall Street movement is a crystal clear example of everything that I wrote about on this blog 2 years ago! It's about people who are sick and tired of just existing to make a hand full of people in the world rich.

If you are one of the brainwashed people who are calling the Occupy protesters "Lazy" or displaying your ignorance by saying something like.."Just get a job"...then right NOW is the time for you to WAKE UP! If you ignore what is going on around you then someday it just might be you that gets a rude wake up call just like I did. And when you cry out for help, all you are going to hear is people calling YOU "Lazy"..and telling YOU to "Just get a Job". And then you will be forced to learn how it's a little more complicated than that.

I am one of the 99%! - (and so are you)

  1. Thanks for posting this.

Pastor Niemoller had it right when he said:

" First they came for the communists,

    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,

    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,

    and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

    Then they came for me

and there was no one left to speak out for me."

There will not be a convenient time to speak up. It can not be put off till later. NOW is when we PEACEFULLY join and make it clear what is not acceptable any more. NOW.

  5. you defended the country because you were told too. told too by a country that is interested in the oil fields in the countries you illegally invaded.

thousands of innocent women and children died because your government wanted to secure oil

  6. Anyone that can openly speak negativity about the OWS movement is Anti American, is NOT patriotic and Hates us for our freedoms.

  7. so in this "democracy" that you are 'defending', any voice that speaks out that does not follow 'your' indoctrines is somehow anti-patriotic??

sir, it is you that is anti-patriotic, for you are so short sighted that you are prepared to disregard anothers viewpoint simply because it does not comply with yours...

in a democracy, the one you are so proud to 'defend', i am allowed to have an opinion that is the opposite of yours

  8. Yes, everyone is allowed to voice their own opinions, but name calling is not an opinion, it is belittling someone to feel bigger yourself. Bullying is a problem in this country and you are trying to do that here.

To the veteran, thank you for your service, thank you for risking your life so that this movement is possible.

To the author of this blog, thank you for speaking out about your feelings and opening up yourself to the rants of the uneducated on the movement.

  9. To Mr. Anonymous up there, with your typically naive perspective: I've been a Marine for three years now (got two more years before I reenlist) and how dare you tell ANY vet that they fought simply because this country's incompetent leaders demanded it. Since 1973, the best men and women of this country have VOLUNTEERED to fight for it. It's called sacrifice, jackass. And we proudly make it willingly.

Now, Mr. Ressler: You seem like an intelligent person. So how can you declare so confidently that our men and women in uniform are the only ones responsible for violence since OWS's initiation? You are adamantly dismissing countless rapes, beatings, deaths, and drug overdoses exhibited by the very people you are defending. Are all Occupy protests violent and disruptive? Absolutely not. But it is false, nay highly ignorant, to hold our law enforcers accountable for the entirety of violence and dismay applicable to the Occupy movement.

You compare this country's state of affairs with the other nations of the world, yet you seemingly fail to realize how dire the circumstances were/are in other nations. You don't see the United States Army mowing down protesters with artillery fire, and the only Occupiers who've experienced the use of force by the police were the uncooperative and non-compliant ones. Why do you think absolutely ZERO people have been arrested at ANY of the Tea Party's protests? Is it because every law enforcement officer is a biased right-wing asshole? I doubt it. Furthermore, one cannot dismiss that a lot of these other countries are experiencing armed rebellion; something that the United States has yet to experience itself.

I agree with you that most people do not understand the purpose for which OWS stands, but I think that most of its followers are included in that generalization. Personally, I believe our current tribulations are due to the incompetence that we've elected as our leaders the past thirty/forty years, whom have disrupted our boom-and-bust economy to the point that we're stuck in a bust. Bail-outs, stimulus plans, excess spending... What part of true Capitalism, a true laissez-faire economy, are any of these?

I admire the passion most Occupiers have for the United States - true patriotism is a rarity these days. But I simply disagree that Capitalism (much less the INDIVIDUAL greed of business owners) and its subsequent effects are responsible for our downfall. Watch your Congress, Occupiers. Just watch how they do absolutely nothing for US (that's WE, not United States) while they spend trillions upon trillions of dollars on shady business deals and foreign investments. Remember that the very business owners you're accusing have also been affected by the recession, not JUST you.

  10. And what do you propose you can do about it? Oh, sure, you can put forth weak attempts like campaign finance reform, end the Federal Reserve, put this cap and that cap in place, whatever. What will that do in the end? The rich will still be rich, you will still be poor, the earth goes around the sun again. The rich have, the poor need, the poor beg the rich for their largesse and are expected to pay a premium for it. Of COURSE we're slaves of the rich. It is the human condition. It has been that way since humans evolved out of the swamps, it will be that way until the last human takes their last breath. What, you think you're the first people to notice this and rise up against it? Every great civilization has fallen because of this. What YOU ungrateful sops don't bother to be thankful for, is the fact that in the first time in human history, YOU have the chance to join and become one of the elite. Yes, you'll have to put forth some risk (gasp!), sacrifice (oh NO!), and hard work (YEEK!), but you can do it. But no, you'd rather beat drums and chant in a park, that's so much easier. And just as ineffective. There's plenty enough to go around, everyone can do it that wants to, some do, some don't. Our lives are the sum of the choices WE make. Don't blame your failures on the rich. THEY didn't fail, and managed under the same conditions you fail under.

And don't you EVER lump me in with the 99%, I am FAR more exceptional than that.

    ReplyDelete
  11. @Rob, The complete ignorance that you have displayed is a clear example of the brainwashing that I have referred to.

First of all the FACT that you are part of the 99% is just that..a FACT. It's not an opinion. Unless of coarse your last name is Rockafeller or one of the other super rich family names that that 1% refers to, you know the ones who own this country and do not have to submit to any government authority. If you do not realize that then you have no clue what the 99% IS.

And second of all neither I nor you have the opportunity to become one of the 1%. You apparently think along the same lines as the guy who had a little over one million dollars at mistakenly thought that HE was within the 1%.

I suggest you take some of your "exceptional" research before commenting again to show you ignorance.

  12. To all of the "Anonymous" blowhards that have come here to defend their slave masters, I will not waist my time addressing your individual moronic statements while you are to much of a chicken shit to identify yourself with at the very least a screen name. I will just let your clearly uneducated propaganda laced statements speak for themselves.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Cpl. Johnathan Anderson of the United States Marine Corps. I didn't think my name and rank were relevant to the validity of my argument; however, as this is your blog and you have clearly stated that 'Anonymous' indefinitely reflects 'moron', I'll humor you.

I'd like to maintain my assumption that you're an intelligent man, Mr. Ressler, but you're last post consists of nothing but a few condescending insults. A strong voice in an argument or debate regarding political ideology requires certain characteristics; the acceptance and understanding of an opposing - but well-constructed and informed - argument is one of them. You've clearly shown that you lack this quality, as you blindly rebuke and insult an argument simply because you don't know the name of the arguer. The weight with which you carry a simple name betrays you, my friend. This is the internet, and EVERYONE is 'Anonymous', simply because they can lie about who they are and you'd never know the difference.

I'd hope that you'd reply with a well-thought argument against mine, but I have a feeling you'll just label my words as 'propaganda laced' on the basis that I serve 'the military-industrial complex.' At the risk of sounding condescending myself, I won't waste any more of my time addressing your narrow-minded views, as you clearly possess an ardent distaste for those of your fellow Americans whom happen to think differently than you. I wish you well on your endeavor to change the face of this country, Mr. Ressler, and may the best thing for the United States and her people prevail.

    ReplyDelete
  14. To Mr. Anderson...first off let me thank you for giving me the opportunity to refer to you by name so that you will know who I am talking to rather than expect me to reply to your comments by saying..."to the 7th anonymous poster down the page between Josie and Rob's post". That makes it much easier to converse with someone don't you think?

Now to address your original post (I'll ignore the second since you clearly misunderstand my desire for and identity - even though that I did not require a real world identity just a way to refer to you directly).

As for my opinion of our "men and women" in uniform...I refer to the video evidence on the subject. Do you are an evidence of the "countless rapes, beatings, deaths, and drug overdoses" that you mentioned have been commented by the OWS protestors? Furthermore, my opinion of law enforcement also comes from my life experience watching countless cops abuse their authority and make up laws on the fly letting criminals go free and victimizing innocent people. I realize that you are in the military but it is "highly ignorant(your words)" to think that just because someone wears a uniform that they are a good person. A little research on the internet will produce tons of evidence to the contrary. The fact is I have known alot of law enforcement people in my life and I have yet to meet even one honest one who didn't think that because they were a badge that they can do whatever they want to.

As for my comparison to other countries..no I have not failed "realize how dire the circumstances were/are in other nations". You have clearly failed to realize how dire the circumstances were/are in THIS country for a great many people. All of that get swept under the rug and responded to by calling people "lazy"..or "criminals"...without knowing anything about them because that is the way people are programmed to respond to the suffering of people in the county..pretend it doesn't exist, and if it does it's their own damn fault.

"Why do I think absolutely ZERO people have been arrested at ANY of the Tea Party's protests?"...simple, because the TEA Party people clearly does not see the truth of the problem. They actually think the problem can be solved by voting. They actually think that the elections are not fixed. They actually think that exchanging one corrupt political figurehead for another one is going to somehow change anything. They don't realize that the government does not call the shots. So why would the police be ordered to come down on them...they are clearly brainwashed to think exactly what they are suppose to.

And finally I have made no accusations against any business owner. I think you need to re-read my post and my other posts on this blog to that you can clearly understand what I have been talking about.

    ReplyDelete
  15. @Ressler
Yes, yet again a anonymous commentator.

Copypaste:"I think you need to re-read my post and my other posts on this blog to that you can clearly understand what I have been talking about. "

If you want to be understood, I suggest writing a shorter comment. It's your freedom to write long comments, but don't end up complaining about stupid people, who don't understand your comments, they're just too long.

To keep it short, the sense of powerless of the OWS, that's going on for decades in Africa, but all you seem to care about is me,me,me.

PS, we are anonymous and everywhere, we outnumber you.

  16. I served in Nam as did my 3 brothers. My parents were officers in the Air Force. It was a hard awakening for all of us as to what America has become. The twisted lies, corruption at every level, in your face shredding of the Constitution, the militarization of the the police departments across America is ALL in your face and sadly frightening. We didn't fight for America in Nam, and yes we did start it. With the freedom of information you can research it yourself. The thousands that were killed for absolutely no legal and moral reason is astonishing, and it is maddening that people continue to believe America wears the white hat. That is of course because all mainstream media is controlled by a handful of the 1%. The lies told by Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfield to get us into the 10 year illegal war should cause all people to run to the streets to protest. The killing, depleted uranium deployed will come back to haunt us. The men and women coming back injured and with mental injuries is vast. If people would only go to Architects and Engineers and start the reseach... it is there. 9/11 was an inside job. You can't cover up lies and distortions, and physics. Thousands of architects and engineers have stated 'no way did the planes bring down those buildings' , they fell a free fall speed. Thermite molecules were found throughout the dust. This site of professional people has only one goal- to investigate why the third building (46 stories) also turned into dust like the twin towers and nothing hit it! It was a false flag to get us into this war. FOLLOW THE MONEY...Men will do most anything for it and or power. Ron Paul is the only morally sound, legitimate and qualified candidate to try and reel this country back. (Check his years of voting record) and has continually pushed to audit the evil federal reserve (which is not a part of the government)- do your research. Be prepared and my God show mercy.

  18. To the last Anonymous Nam vet, I agree 100%.

I find it really funny(and intriguing at the same time) that there's a LOT of people out there that are convinced anyone can become part of the 1%. Really? Really? Well, please tell me exactly how because I, along with many others probably too, would like to be filthy rich. The old adage, "work hard enough and you can become anything you want" only holds some truth. I view this statement in the same regard as the other lies we tell our children - there's an Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus, Columbus Discovered America, Obama was born in the U.S. The last one is only a half joke as I'm still skeptical but can't confirm either. I mean seriously, who thinks they're too good to not have a birth certificate? It seems like every other year I have to pull that out to give to some agency. So where did his go? Whatever though, back to my point.

I also find it very odd that there are so many people against the OWS for silly reasons. So you like driving and support that? Driving has fatalities, dirty people, assholes, people who have no business driving. I'm making a point that just because some people haven't showered (they're sleeping out there, how/where do you want them to shower?) or there have been rapes or murders? I believe I've heard of like 1 incident. Come on, you're going to use that as your defense to discredit the protesters? Weeeeeeeeeak.

    I'll write more later...

  25. I would be interested to see any facts whatsoever about the U.S.'s use of "resources to brainwash it's citizens so that they will not see that obvious truth."

I live in the U.S. now, I lived in another country in the past, and I have never seen any evidence to that point. I think the U.S. is truly a land of great opportunity. I worked my but off to get into a good school, continued to work all the way through it and landed a good job. I feel bad for you and others who are having a hard time surviving this difficult economic climate, but this is why I have a hard time empathizing with the OWS movement. A crazy claim that the U.S. is brainwashing its people without any facts to back it up at all...

Without any facts I can only rely on what I know to be true from my own experience; work smart, work hard, and you can be successful in this great country.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Ok, well if just taking a look around you does not produce any evidence for you then I suggest you start by reading this:

    We are all Slaves

And then you can move on to this post to getting a little clearer picture of the so called "Rights" and "Freedoms" that do not exist in ths "great" country:

    Rights and Freedoms

And by the way..."work smart, work hard, and you can be successful in this great country" a load of crap that only brainwashed people say.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I appreciate the effort, and I read your opinions about eminent domain, private ownership, and the raising of hands in the classroom, the problem is none of those are facts backing up your claim that the government is brainwashing us.

I understand the need for a sovereign nation to retain the ability to buyback property (yes they must give the owner "just compensation" and I understand it may not always be perfectly just) in the event that they need the land for improved infrastructure, etc. City planners can't see the future and plan the perfect infrastructure, if they could then government wouldn't need eminent domain, until then, its better than living under a tyrannical government that could take away your land without being mandated by law to give you just compensation.
And, sure its a bummer to have to wait your turn to use the bathroom when your in class, but certainly there is a need for order in a classroom of eight year olds. Do you really think our public education system would be better if we let them all speak, and run to the bathroom whenever they "needed to."

Neither of those things represents the government brainwashing its citizens. Classrooms need some form of order, and Sovereign nations need to have a way to buyback land from its citizens. Where are the facts about brainwashing?

    ReplyDelete
  28. You are far to brainwashed for me to get through to you. If you are really interested in learning the truth and are trully in search of "facts" (however you define the term) then I will refer you to google.com. It should take more than a few seconds for you to locate plenty of "facts".

But I want to thank you for speaking up and showing a perfect example of what I spoke about before regarding how whenever someone stands up to speak out against what is wrong their will be plenty of brainwashed people to stand up to defend our slave masters with the propaganda that they have been programmed with. I could not have made my point any more clear than you have made it for me. Thank you.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I went and googled fact for you, you were right it came up really fast.

  31. Gentlefolks of this blog, the one short version of this argument is that both have a point and both sides of this discussion are pissed for one reason or the other. I would pose a question to both pundits in this discussion, is it wrong to ask for a clear concise look into both sides of this discussion. Does anyone have a point? I may point out if I may, my leanings are toward the occupy side as I trust the main point here is to install ethics. Such as ethical business practices and the return of Congress to the ethical standards of the Founding Fathers in representing their constituents wishes of each State. It would seem that the current standard of ethics between both factions is unacceptable. Thus both pundits are correct. Yes to the right for “go get a job” and the left saying yes” I want a job that pays a living wage”. So gentlemen it seems from my vantage you are both heading in the right direction but just on different avenues. But let me ask you both this. If getting a job that pays a living wage would bring back prosperity to our country why isn’t it easier to find one? Why are there no jobs to have, that produce a living wage? Did we just give them away? From my observations, we did. For business is the fault by its unethical outsourcing of jobs in order to pad its coffers and relying on a base rated system such as the one established in China and India. We lost a greater percentage of living wage jobs to outsourcing to these systems. At first it seemed to work, but we found that the standard of materials imported back to use lacked in true quality and longevity. Remember Sam Walton, Maid in America (Wal-Mart) stance. When he died that died with him, but let us not kid ourselves here we all love a cheap price. But now it turns on the ethics of Congress, as both of you are pissed about something. I am betting on how frustrating it is to have an actual voice in Congress. During the late 70s we basically told ourselves we can relax as the state of affairs were in good hands. Nixon sent an mission to both Russia and China and struck this first discussions with both republics. From there came all sorts of concessions in order to get our products to bigger markets. What happened my friends is the mess we find ourselves in. We have both business and congress making decisions that neither one of you want it to make without hearing your voice. If both business and congress had any ethics at all they would not have made the bed they have made for us to lay down in. That’s what OWS IS about installing ethics back into the system of Business practices and Congressional Leadership.
Now as far as the Veterans, I have a shorter version. Bless those who have made or will make the ultimate sacrifice for Liberty and Freedom. Heaven holds a special place for the peacekeepers. thank you for your time, blessing to both.

  32. This protest, the GLOBAL economy crashing, world wide chaos at bay, police brutality, the U.S Military influence across the WORLD being expanded, ESPECIALLY in China? The fact that our govt, the GREAT AMERICAN government cant come up with a plan to save our entire society from going bankrupt? To keep the government from SHUTTING DOWN? No. YOU people wake up. EVERYONE needs to wake up. This is all, just part of a plan. I am not a conspirator, I am an inhabitant of OUR planet Earth. And our people need to realize that our Leaders are decieving us. Ever heard of the Skull and Bones? It is a secret cult existing for the sole purpose of unifying the world under one power, one world order. It is on the back of our 1 dollar bill people. The words around the well known Pyramid on the back, speak of a New World Order. The 13 levels of stone under the Eye, represent the 13 different classes in the Illuminati that are responsible for the plan. Oh, and that all seeing eye of God? Sorry to tell you. It is the eye of Lucifer. Dont believe me still? Look at the eye on the eagle on the back of our dollar bill. Now google what a bald eagle's eye looks like. It is a dotted pupil. Now look at the dollar bill. Its pupil is vertical. This is a "reptilian eye", or the eye of the serpent. Remember in Adam and Eve, the devil was the snake? Makes a little more sense now doesnt it. With this in hand, search reptilian eyes on youtube. You will find videos removed by the CIA on the CNN website of George Bush Sr. where his eye blinks and turns reptilian. G.W. Bush's does it too. They are both part of the Skull and Bones. Infact, the Skull and Bones created the CIA with a compliation of German scientists from WWII that helped create that mysterious flying saucer created by the Nazis. Even better. George Bush Sr.'s father, one if the wealthiest American bankers at the time, funded much of the Nazi-German operations for WWII. I can go on about this. There is proof all around us. The Illuminati have been an evil sector broken off of the Freemasons around the time of George Washington. You can even read documents written by Washington to a trusted Mason, about his fear of the Illuminati and Jacobinism influence on the American Freemasons. And do you know who was a "Freemason" and DESIGNED our US currency (i.e Our one dollar bill) ? Ben Franklin. Franklin was part of the Illuminati. Well, isnt that nice to know. It HAS been a plan since the beginning. I have studied and researched MANY theories, Religions, Conspiracies, and Faiths, but only one, matches up with everything we know and are currently witnessing today. Look up the 25 Illuminati goals. Look at our history and world today. I garuntee you will see a resemblance.
